About Us

We are a Canadian owned company that is federally incorporated. The founders of the company, Eric and Flora Preston, have experiential knowledge of the plight of those who have been Chemically Injured. The life altering effect of this illness impacts every aspect of daily life. There is no area of one's life that is left unaffected.

Flora has been disabled since June 1987 with various Chemical Injury health conditions: Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Mercury Poisoning, Lead Poisoning, and a few other diagnoses. She has walked a tight rope between life and death since before becoming disabled. In 1991, Eric initially got involved as a friend to help provide her with specialized low-toxicity housing. This help literally saved her life. (Click here to see picture of the low-toxicity house Eric designed and built for Flora.) They were married in 1998.

Eric and Flora Preston  -  September 2009

Eric is a Professional Mechanical Engineer, working in the aerospace industry.
Prior to becoming disabled, Flora worked as a Registered Nursing Assistant (RNA), now known as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). The majority of her nursing experience was in chronic care and palliative care.

Since Chemical Injuries are both acquired and preventable, it is our strong desire to help others avoid the devastating effects of this health condition. We also wish to help those, who have the misfortune of developing a Chemical Injury, to meet the challenge that this health condition imposes on their lives.
